Some of his favorite Gainesville memories include camping out with his fellow Rowdy Reptiles for front row seats to Florida Basketball games in the O’Dome (and having Billy D, Jeremy Foley and some of the players deliver them Chick-fil-A breakfast),  tailgating across campus for Gator Football before heading into The Swamp, and his senior year when the 04’s Florida Basketball team won their first of back to back to National Championships and Michael spent that last semester following the team around the country for their March Madness run instead of securing a job upon graduating! Sleeping in the streets of downtown Indianapolis with other students for front row tickets to the Final Four was well worth it to  get to witness in person the first basketball NCAA Title in school history.
