Atlanta Gator Club Scholarship Fund
The majority of
the proceeds, raised by the Atlanta Gator Club during the
year, go to fund scholarships for Atlanta area students who
will be attending the University of Florida as freshman the
next academic year. Our Annual Golf Tournament, the Bull
Gator Raffle, and the Gator Gathering, are major fund
raising events held each year to fund these scholarships.
Each Spring, the
club receives the names of Atlanta area High School
students, who have been accepted by the University of
Florida. These High School students are sent letters
inviting them to apply for these scholarships. The winners
are usually announced at our Gator Gathering.
For the 2008-2009
academic year, the Atlanta Gator Club awarded $15,000 in
Scholarships. For more information about the Atlanta Gator

to foster a spirit of loyalty, unity and cooperation among the
graduates, former students and friends of the University of Florida.
We sponsor Gator Viewing Parties, Events and Scholarship Fundraisers
