benefit the AGC Scholarship Fund

Our Annual
Scholarship Golf Tournament is Monday, Sept. 15,
2008 at
Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell.
Danny Wuerffel is our 2008 Honorary Chairman,
and is scheduled to play.
This is your chance to golf with Danny Wuerffel in
our annual tournament - here is how it works:
1) The winning bidder will receive: three total
playing spots in a foursome with Danny (Danny makes
up the fourth spot in the foursome) for the
September 15th tournament. Each player will receive
greens fees, cart fees, breakfast, post-tournament
lunch, goody bag, Dri-Fit golf polo and a Danny
Wuerffel autographed commemorative item.
2) The Auction will run from Saturday, August 9th,
2008 to Monday, September 8, 2008. At the close of
the auction at 11:59 p.m. on September 8, 2008, the
current highest bidder wins.
3) As mentioned, Danny is scheduled to appear.
However, if for any reason he cannot attend the
tournament on 9/15/08 he has agreed to golf with the
winning bidder and his/her two additional guests
(for a total of three people) at Horseshoe Bend
Country Club on another mutually agreed upon date.
4) The Opening Bid is $500, and additional bids
must be made in minimum of $50 increments. All
proceeds will benefit the Atlanta Gator Club
Scholarship Fund.
5) If you are the winning bidder and have already
purchased an individual spot or foursome in the
tournament, the Atlanta Gator Club will refund your
original purchase and will charge you the total for
your winning auction bid (This excludes any
sponsorship packages which are separate from the
Danny Wuerffel auction)
Danny is the Executive Director of Desire Street
Ministries. Desire Street Ministries has recently
relocated their executive offices to Atlanta. Danny
led the Gators to four SEC championships and a
National title. He also won 1996 Heisman trophy, and
the Draddy award (for the nation's top
