17th Annual Scholarship Golf Classic
 

The Atlanta Gator Club will be hosting the 17th Annual Scholarship Golf Classic at Windermere Golf Club on May 3, 2010.   The tournament is the largest fundraiser for the Scholarship Fund, and enables us to continue to award scholarships to the best and brightest from the Atlanta area. 

The Club’s objective is to make our tournament the best college golf event in the Atlanta area, as is befitting of the Gator Nation. We need your help to make this goal a reality.

Come join Heisman Trophy winner Danny Wuerffel, Olympic 4 Man Bobsled Gold Medal winner Steve Mesler, former Florida athletes, and fellow Gators for a special spring day of :

  • 18 holes of scramble golf and fun with friends
  • Breakfast before a 10AM shotgun tee off
  • Mingling with Danny and other former Gator athletes including Kerwin Bell and Jerry Odom (scheduled to appear) among others.
  • A bag of goodies for you including a $65 value Nike Dri-Fit commemorative Gator golf shirt.
  • An opportunity to buy "Mulligans" and a "Drive with a Pro".
  • Chances to win other great prizes and awards.
  • A silent auction containing items such as an Al Horford autographed National Championship Gator basketball, National Championship footballs signed by Urban Meyer, a wine gift package, Danny Wuerffel autographed items and much, much more.
  • A sumptuous spread of food following golf as we mingle and award the winners.
  • Helping a great cause - scholarships to deserving students to attend the University of Florida.

And Danny wants you to get a chance to play with him on that day. The first three players to commit to pay $500 to play in the tournament with Danny will be in his foursome. This includes your event fee so if you have already committed to the event you only pay the difference between your player fee and the $500. It’s for a good cause Gator Scholarships.
